A man was caught on CCTV snatching a woman’s mangalsutra as she was sitting in a pizza shop in Haryana’s Panipat. The incident took place on Sunday when the woman and her friends were eating pizza in a shop.
The accused entered the pizza shop wearing a helmet under the pretext of taking delivery.
In the CCTV footage, the man can be seen with a phone in his hand, waiting for the right moment to snatch the mangalsutra. Soon after the incident, the woman chased the man as he ran out of the shop.
Based on the CCTV footage, the police registered the complaint and began their investigation.
