Home Minister Amit Shah on Thursday spoke about allegations levelled by Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau of the “potential” involvement of Indian agents in the killing of Khalistani separatist Hardeep Singh Nijjar.
Reiterating India’s stance on the matter, Amit Shah rejected the allegations related to the June 18 killing in Surrey, and instead asked, “What are terrorists wanted in India doing in Canada?”
“We have completely denied these allegations. They (the Canadian government) should also answer what terrorists wanted in India were doing in Canada,” Shah said during an interaction at Agenda AajTak 2023 session.
