The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) is now probing the Sushant Singh Rajput death case from the angle of a suicide. The 34-year-old actor was found hanging at his Bandra residence on June 14. The Mumbai Police had initially declared it to be a case of suicide and has registered an Accidental Death Report (ADR) the same day. They then began probing the cause behind the suicide. However, after Sushant Singh Rajput’s father, KK Singh, filed a complaint against Rhea Chakraborty and others with Bihar Police on July 25, several angles and theories were attached to the actor’s death. The Enforcement Directorate (ED) and the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) are probing the money laundering and the drug angle respectively.
CBI INVESTIGATION FOCUSED ON SUSHANT SINGH RAJPUT’S SUICIDE
The CBI is now concentrating only on the reason behind Sushant Singh Rajput’s suicide. There are only five of six angles of investigation which include the angle of Rhea Chakraborty, professional rivalry and nepotism in Bollywood, effect of drug abuse and Sushant Singh Rajput’s mental health.
NO PROOF OF RHEA CHAKRABORTY SIPHONING OFF FUNDS
On June 8, Rhea Chakraborty had moved out of Sushant Singh Rajput’s residence and his sister, Meetu Singh, had moved in to live with him.
In his complaint with the Bihar Police, KK Singh had also alleged that Rhea Chakraborty had siphoned off a sum of Rs 15 crore from the actor’s bank accounts. He also accused her of abetment to suicide.

However, as per CBI, the money transaction theory has failed in course of CBI investigation. There is nothing concrete in the audit report to suggest that Rhea Chakraborty siphoned off funds and this led to Sushant Singh Rajput’s suicide.
NO LINK BETWEEN SUSHANT SINGH RAJPUT AND DISHA SALIAN’S DEATHS
Disha Salian, Sushant Singh Rajput’s former manager, died after falling off a high-rise building on the night of June 8. Several theories were linking Sushant Singh Rajput’s and Disha Salian’s death. The CBI has not found any concrete evidence of a connection between Sushant Singh Rajput and Disha Salian’s death case.

” The CBI investigation related to death of Sushant Singh Rajput is still continuing and all the aspects are being looked into meticulously,” said a CBI spokesperson.
Recently, the team of doctors from AIIMS who accompanied the CBI team to help them with the investigation submitted their report to the agency. In their report, AIIMS experts ruled out any possibility of foul play and stated that Sushant Singh Rajput’s death was a case of suicide and not murder. Sushant Singh Rajput’s family is unhappy with the AIIMS report and they are now demanding a new forensic probe.
Meanwhile, Rhea Chakraborty, who was arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau for alleged procurement of drugs, has been granted bail today. She was in judicial custody since September 9. Rhea’s brother, Showik Chakraborty, however, continues to be in judicial custody as his bail plea got rejected.
