Yadav kept launching into the RR attack with great gusto and was particularly brutal on Tom Curran (0/33) in the 18th over that went for 19 runs.

Yadav got hit on the helmet by a nasty boundary from Jofra Archer and underwent a concussion test. However, on the very next delivery, Yadav ramped Archer for an unbelievable six over the wicket-keeper’s head. Fans and cricket experts took to social media to laud the Mumbai batsman after the end of 1st inning.

India legend Sachin Tendulkar termed Suryakumar Yadav ‘special and dangerous’ as he tweeted, @surya_14kumar is special and very dangerous because he can play on all sides of the wicket. #MIvRR #IPL2020″

Some fans and cricket experts expressed their surprise over Suryakumar Yadav still not being a part of the national team.

Suryakumar Yadav hit a blistering 79 off just 47 deliveries with the help of 11 fours and a couple of sixes to end his lean patch in IPL 2020.
