Amitabh Bachchan shared his experience of attending Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s wedding. The actor attended the grand event with his family: Jaya Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan, and Aishwarya Rai. After attending the wedding, Amitabh shared his thoughts about the event on his blog late at night.
The actor in his blog on Tumblr, expressed his eagerness to share his experience. “Yes, the desire and the will to connect even at this unearthly hour—to some, it is time for work…but for me, I need to utilise the time for the Ef connect. Back from a glorious wedding, I feel after a long time the wealth of love and affection with so many old acquaintances (sic,” he said.
“They seemed to have changed in their physiognomy, but extremely sincere in their affection towards the association and the love of our times well spent together. This is what life is all about .. the associations and love and care (sic),” Amitabh added.
Towards the end, the ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ actor wrote, “It is strange how the little things that matter to each other, remain, but those that had a deeper association or a meaningful spent time, is lost and forgotten .. well not really forgotten , but kept on the back burner, and remembered or brought out only when there is required meaning of the association (sic).”

The ‘wedding of the decade’ witnessed a confluence of opulence, tradition, and celebrity glamour, with global icons, Bollywood celebrities, and political dignitaries gracing the occasion.
Nearly the entire top tier of Bollywood actors were present, including Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Ajay Devgn, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Tiger Shroff, and Varun Dhawan, many accompanied by their families. Southern superstars Rajinikanth, Ram Charan, and Mahesh Babu also led the southern contingent.
Nita and Mukesh Ambani’s youngest son’s wedding festivities commenced with an intimate puja ceremony at the Ambanis’ Mumbai residence, Antilia, on June 29, followed by a set of pre-wedding rituals including the ‘mameru’ ceremony, sangeet, haldi, and mehendi.
