NHA recognises Karkinos Healthcare for its significant contributions to ABDM – ET HealthWorld

Mumbai: Karkinos Healthcare has been officially recognised by the National Health Authority for its significant contributions to the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM). Through the ABDM initiative, 26 crore health records have so far been linked with the unique Ayushman Bharat Health Account (ABHA), and Karkinos has linked 30,094 health records with ABHA addresses as of May 8, 2023.

By leveraging Karkinos Healthcare‘s Distributed Cancer Care Network (DCCN), sustained efforts are being invested to support ABDM in realising its digital health mission and goals. Dr Basant Garg, Mission Director, Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission and Additional Chief Executive Officer, National Health Authority, in an official letter, appreciated the efforts contributed by Team Karkinos in building the nation’s digital health ecosystem.

Acknowledging the letter of appreciation, Dr R Venkataramanan, Founder and CEO, Karkinos Healthcare, said, “This letter of appreciation from ABDM validates our commitment and motivates us to further our efforts in linking health records and help India build a robust digital health infrastructure.”

This acknowledgement from NHA also underscores the significant role that private sector players like Karkinos Healthcare play in developing India‘s digital health ecosystem. It also highlights the success of the ABDM in fostering collaboration between public and private stakeholders for a unified goal – to ensure better healthcare for every Indian citizen.
