Docprime launches India’s first ABDM integrated Health Locker – ET HealthWorld

Gurgaon: PB Fintech’s Docprime technologies has launched India’s first health locker integrated with Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM) to provide users a digital and self-consented health data management system without any charges .The health locker enables users to create digital Health IDs for themselves and their family members.

Docprime Health Locker received the ABDM Sandbox approval August helps users to activate their ABDM integrated Health Locker where they can securely upload, store and manage all their health records electronically as well as share them with their doctors. The users can also fetch and store their CoWin vaccination certificates through the given health locker.

Speaking on the digital revolutionization of healthcare in India, Yashish Dahiya, Chairman and CEO, PB Fintech said “We feel that similar to how UPI and Aadhaar revolutionized payments and fintech in India, the creation of this robust public digital infrastructure by ABDM will fundamentally transform how healthcare is delivered in India. Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM) was launched by the Government in August 2020 with the aim to develop an integrated digital health infrastructure in the country. The infrastructure is to be developed through digital Health IDs for all citizens, standardized health facility and health professionals registries, a federated personal health record system for sharing health data within the ecosystem, and health lockers to store all of the user’s health records. A Sandbox was subsequently created for healthcare players nationally rolled out on 27th August 2021 to test and integrate their services with ABDM, which was initially only restricted to only certain states and Union Territories.
