IT’s fab five to narrow gap with smaller peers as costs bug clients

The country’s top five IT companies have been lagging behind their medium and small counterparts in revenue and profit growth over the past few quarters. Analysts, however, believe that the performance gap is narrowing and the top five are expected to gain amid the rising cost consciousness of clients.The revenue share of 83 Tier-II and -III companies increased steadily over the past seven quarters to hit a record 17.7% of the aggregate
