The deal applies only to the 256GB model. This smartphone comes in seven unique colors — three of which are online exclusives: Coral Red, Pink Gold, and Blue Black. The discount has been applied to all color options.

Through Samsung’s trade-in program, you can save up to an additional $493 on your purchase. The amount of money removed depends on the smartphone being exchanged. For example, if you trade in an iPhone 16, you get the full $493 discount. But if you trade in the iPhone 15 Pro, you only receive a $466 discount.

Whenever a new Galaxy series launches, people tend to gravitate toward the high-end model, which in this scenario is the Galaxy S25 Ultra. But a lot of great things can be said about the base option. In fact, ZDNET’s Prakhar Khanna recommends the Galaxy S25 over the Ultra, and this is due to several key features.
First, the phone is quite comfortable to hold. Khanna states that its “flat sides don’t feel unwieldy, and the curved edge keeps it handy.” He claims the handset “offers a better in-hand feel than the… iPhone 16.” Second, the mobile device boasts a vibrant 6.2-inch AMOLED display. Its resolution peaks at Full HD+, lower than the S24’s Quad HD+ display, although it still outputs “sharp and vibrant” imagery.

Much of Khanna’s review focuses on the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor. I won’t give too much away (I encourage you to read his review for full details), but here’s the gist: The chipset continues improving the line’s camera system and gives access to Samsung’s new AI features. Users can try out Now Brief, an “app-widget hybrid that consolidates important data in one place,” as well as Audio Eraser to remove unwanted noise in recordings.

$553 off on a $860 smartphone is an amazing deal. As per ZDNET’s rating system, I grant this promotion a perfect score of 5/5. Even though it got a perfect rating, this deal can get better. I’ve seen the Galaxy S25 receive an even better discount of $560 in the past. I hope to see the bigger price drop come back soon.
If you just take the $60 discount, the score drops to a 1/5. That is only a 7% price drop. Still, a small discount is better than none. And you get 256GB of storage, which isn’t bad.
