Victoria Azarenka has made a remarkable comeback to professional tennis, there is no doubt about it. She was set to face Naomi Osaka in the finals of Western & Southern Open but a hamstring injury forced Osaka to give Azarenka a walkover. Three weeks from there and as destiny has it, the same players are in the finals again, only the stage has become bigger.
Azarenka says that she has gotten over with her ego, which was hindering her growth. She admitted that success in the initial phase of her career had made her feel like she was “invincible”. She added that she has learnt from her mistakes now.
