After questioning Rhea Chakraborty for more than 8 hours on Monday (August 31), the CBI has not called her for the fifth day today. However, sources say that Rhea may be questioned jointly with Sushant’s sisters Meetu and Priyanka Singh. On Monday, the CBI questioned Meetu Singh, who lived with Sushant from June 8 to June 13. Rhea’s brother Showik Chakraborty was with the actress during the interrogation.
Sushant Singh Rajput was found hanging at his Mumbai home on June 14. Rhea Chakraborty left his home on June 8 after an argument occurred between the couple and Sushant asked her to leave.
While earlier, Sushant Singh Rajput’s family denied knowing about Sushant Singh Rajput’s mental and health and that he was taking medication for the same, India Today has accessed chats between the late actor and his sister Priyanka Singh where she can be seen suggesting him some medicines without doctor’s prescription.
Rhea Chakraborty’s lawyer, Satish Maneshinde, told India Today that Rhea Chakraborty left Sushant’s home on June 8 because she was opposing Sushant’s decision to take medicines without doctor’s prescription on his sister’s suggestion.
