Prabhudheva and AR Rahman reunite for ‘Moon Walk’ after 25 years

South star and director Prabhudheva is reuniting with Mozart of Madras, AR Rahman, for the upcoming Behindwoods film, Moon Walk. By the title, the project will likely be a homage to the legacy of the late King of Pop, Michael Jackson.

It is only fitting that Prabhudheva will be starring in a homage to Jackson, as he is fondly called the Indian Michael Jackson by his fans.

Moon Walk is being touted as a family entertainer with an ensemble cast that boasts of names such as Yogi Babu, Aju Varghese, Arjun Ashokan, Satz, Nishma, and Sushmita among more.

Prabhudheva also shared the happy news on his social media handle. Take a look at it here:

The fact that Rahman will be composing music for the movie has got everyone pumped since Rahman and Prabhudeva’s earlier works have resulted in major chartbusters, including the likes of ‘Mukkalaa’ and ‘Oorvasi.’ They have worked together on movies such as Kadhalan, Gentleman, and Love Birds.

Set for a release sometime in 2025, Moon Walk will be helmed by Behindwoods Founder and CEO Manoj NS.
