Andhra PradeshDeputy Chief Minister K. Pawan Kalyan will soon visit the districts and receive petitions related to land disputes and follow it up with reviews with officials.
In a teleconference with the officials on Friday (April 18, 2025), Mr. Kalyan took a serious note of land grabbing and told them to focus on curbing the menace so that private properties could be protected.
He observed that a substantial number of the grievances being submitted in his office pertained to land disputes in Visakhapatnam, Kakinada, Kadapa, and Tirupati regions.
These complaints include land encroachments that took place during the YSR Congress Party regime. Common people were suffering a lot because of the encroachments.
Mr. Kalyan said land scams involving the creation of fake documents and encroachments would not be tolerated, and stern action taken against the fraudsters.
He said he would personally receive petitions in the presence of Collectors and Joint Collectors.
Necessary action would be taken to settle the disputes and even leaders of the ruling coalition would not be spared if they were found to have grabbed lands.
