Panel to be formed for Thiruvananthapuram metro rail

The State government will form a committee headed by the Chief Secretary to discuss the alignment of the proposed metro rail in Thiruvananthapuram. The decision was taken in a meeting chaired by Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan on Wednesday. The committee will examine the issues related to the proper alignment and submit recommendations. The committee will consist of secretaries of the Revenue, Finance, Local Self Government and Transport departments.
