Nitish Kumar has become saturated, anxious to portray distance between LJP and BJP: Chirag Paswan

Day after claiming that PM Narendra Modi is doing 12 joint rallies with JDU because he has come under pressure from the Bihar chief minister, Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) president Chirag Paswan, in another attack on Nitish Kumar, said he has stopped envisioning policies and become saturated.

Chirag Paswan said that Nitish Kumar is anxious to portray a distance and a wedge between his party and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

The LJP leader also said that Nitish Kumar dismisses young leaders, calling them inexperienced even though he himself started as a young activist. Chirag Paswan went on to assert that he is young and can think of Bihar.

“I believe Bihar CM has stopped envisioning policies and become saturated. He dismisses young leaders, calling them inexperienced but himself started as a young activist during the JP movement. We’re aware too and can think for Bihar. The state’s given him 15 yrs already,” Chirag Paswan told ANI.

On Saturday, Chirag Paswan had claimed that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is doing 12 joint rallies with JDU and Nitish Kumar for the Bihar elections because he has come under pressure from the Bihar chief minister.

In an exclusive interview with India Today TV, Chirag Paswan has said, “PM Modi is doing 12 joint rallies with Nitish Kumar because he is under pressure from the JDU chief. Even if Nitish Kumar becomes the chief minister, I will not join NDA and would prefer to sit in the Opposition.”

Earlier, Chirag Paswan had asserted that he is Narendra Modi’s “Hanuman” and that the prime minister lives in his heart.

When asked about the remarks, Chirag Paswan said it was only PM Narendra Modi who called him to give support when his father, Ram Vilas Paswan, was admitted to ICU. Chirag Paswan then said that Nitish Kumar is trying to portray a distance between the LJP and the BJP.

“Why should I not respect Modi ji. Only he called me for support when my father was admitted to ICU. The CM is anxious to portray a distance & wedge between LJP & BJP. I’d like to allay this fear by saying that I welcome criticism from BJP leaders, even from PM,” Chirag Paswan said.

Meanwhile, RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav has also attacked Nitish Kumar, saying the Bihar chief minister’s “first and last love is the CM chair”.

He told ANI, “Nitish Kumar’s first and last love is to only stick to his CM chair. How will he eliminate unemployment? Why does he not speak on migration, poverty, starvation? Youth knows that if NDA isn’t defeated, such a useless govt won’t do anything for the unemployed.”
