A major fire broke out at Samsung Service Centre in Mumbai’s Kanjurmarg East on Monday night. About ten people who were inside have been rescued by the police and locals.

A major fire broke out at Samsung service centre in Kanjurmarg East industrial area of Mumbai on Monday. The establishments of three other companies were also affected by the blaze.
According to fire officials, no injuries have been reported so far. The locals and the police managed to rescue ten people who were inside the building.
As many as eight fire engines and four water tankers reached the spot to douse the blaze. An ambulance has also arrived at the spot, in case of a medical emergency.
Officials said that while the fire erupted at around 8:59 pm, it was reported to the fire department at 9:42 pm.
As per the police’s preliminary investigation, the fire was caused by a short circuit. The Mumbai Police’s probe is currently underway.
