MP CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan in hospital for coronavirus treatment, family tests negative

As a precaution, Shivraj Singh Chouhan’s family members have quarantined themselves at their house for 14 days.

After Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Saturday tested positive for Covid-19, his family also underwent tests.

Their Covid-19 test results returned on Sunday and said that Shivraj Singh Chouhan’s wife Sadhana and his sons Karthikeya and Kunal have all tested negative for the virus.

As a precaution, Shivraj Singh Chouhan’s family members have quarantined themselves at their house for 14 days.

The family has appealed that whoever came in contact with them must get their test done.

Shivraj Singh Chouhan, 61, was admitted to Chirayu Hospital, a Covid-19 designated private hospital in Bhopal, a BJP leader said.

The Madya Pradesh CM underwent several other tests at the hospital which showed and he is healthy and his infection has not got bad yet.
