Maharashtra releases MAH CET final merit list, seat allotment begins soon

The State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra, has released the much-awaited MAH CET 2024 final merit list for the first round of counselling for several professional courses. This includes BCA, BBA, BMS, BBM, and the first year of four-year full-time undergraduate MBA (Integrated) and MCA (Integrated) courses.

CAP ROUND-I BEGINS: WHAT TO EXPECT

After viewing the merit list, candidates who’ve qualified must confirm their option form for CAP Round-I by logging into the portal.

The deadline for submitting this form is September 25, and the provisional seat allotment results for CAP Round-I will be published on September 28.

Following the announcement, successful candidates will have between September 29 and October 1 to visit their allotted institutes and finalise their admission by submitting the necessary documents and fee payment.

MAH CET: DOCUMENT SUBMISSION AND FEES

As part of the process, candidates will need to pay a seat acceptance fee of Rs 1,000. Notably, this fee is a one-time, non-refundable processing fee.

According to the official notification, “The Seat Acceptance Fee shall be paid through the candidate’s login, via online mode only.” Once paid, you’re good to go.

For students from reserved categories in Maharashtra, the application fee stands at Rs 800, while for general category candidates, as well as J&K migrants and children of Indian workers in Gulf countries, it’s Rs 1,000.

NRI, PIO, OCI, and foreign nationals will need to pay an application fee of Rs 5,000.
