- Delhi Capitals now have three wins at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium in this IPL
Delhi Capitals completed their 3rd win at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium in IPL 2020, with the Chennai Super Kings being rattled by Shreyas Iyer and team. While everything went wrong for MS Dhoni’s CSK, the stars certainly favoured the Delhi Capitals, who with their 5-wicket win over Chennai Super Kings, once again toppled Mumbai to reach the top of the IPL 2020 points table.
Over the years, we have all learned about Indian cricketers and love for Bollywood, and it was seen once again in the premises of the DC camp. Veteran opener Shikhar Dhawan was awarded the Man of the Match for his undefeated 58-ball 101, as he not only anchored the innings for Delhi but also saw them to victory, and was seen in a full power dancing celebration to a popular Bollywood number ‘Saddi Gallli’ after the show. Proud captain Shreyas Iyer, youngest in the IPL, joined his teammate in the whole-hearted celebration as they led the entire camp to the dance number.
The 25-year-old pacer Tushar Deshpande, too, was seen excited as followed his teammates and danced to the song while being mounted on a table. It was clearly dinner scenes, but most joined in the celebration but some players seemed to be happy in distance, enjoying watching their mates in full party mood, as Shikhar Dhawan put it as “#ReelKaroFeelKaro #ReelItFeelIt”.
Here is the Instagram reel:
Chasing 180, veteran batsman Shikhar Dhawan led Delhi Capitals from the front and scored his maiden hundred in the T20 format. He remained unbeaten at 101 off 58 as Axar Patel, who came in at No. 7 in the 19th only over, blasted 3 sixes off Ravindra Jadeja’s last over when 17 was required to win off the final 6 deliveries. Delhi won the game, the 34th fixture of IPL 2020, by 5 wickets and a ball remaining.
