Industrialist Anand Mahindra has commended a high school student from Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh, for his remarkable achievement in building a single-seater drone-copter entirely on his own.
Medhansh Trivedi dedicated three months to constructing the drone, which is capable of flying a person who weighs up to 80kgs for approximately six minutes, according to local reports.
Praising Trivedi, Mahindra said in the caption of his post: “It’s not so much about innovation, since the know-how of building such a machine is available on the net. It’s about the passion for engineering and the commitment to get the job done. The more young people we have like this the more innovative a nation we will become.”
