We are nearing Day 3 action in Southampton. As they say, it’s the moving day today. A lot will depend on how the two teams perform today. If West Indies can hang in there and get a lead of about 100, they will definitely be in the driver’s seat. However, it seems batting has not been easy from the evidence we have from the last 2 days.
England don’t have Stuart Broad but James Anderson can get the ball moving. Along with him are Jofra Archer and Mark Wood who bowled a hostile spell before bad light halted play on Thursday.
And batting great Sachin Tendulkar believes, there is scopre for reverse swing today. What are your thoughts?
I feel England is planning to rely more on reverse swing in this match. The strategy to bowl short & hit the deck hard will bring reverse swing into play earlier. It has already started reversing & that is what we will most likely see in the 1st & the 2nd innings. #ENGvWI
