Single-day spike of 88,600 fresh Covid-19 cases and 1,124 deaths reported in India, in the last 24 hours. The case tally stands at 5,992,533, including 9,56,402 active cases, 49,41,628 cured or discharged or migrated, and 94,503 deaths, according to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
