Bullets found in student’s luggage at airport

Security officials sounded an alert when they found bullets in the luggage bag of a student during checking at Gannavaram Airport in Krishna district on Thursday. The airport security personnel handed over the student to THE Gannavaram police.

“The student is pursuing engineering in Koneru Lakshmaiah University (KLU) in Guntur district. During scanning, two old bullets were seen in the luggage bag,” Gannavaram Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP), Ch. Srinivas told The Hindu. A detailed investigation is on, the DSP said.
