Ashok Gasti, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP in Rajya Sabha from Karnataka succumbed to Covid-19 at a private hospital in Bengaluru on Thursday. A first-time member of parliament, Gasti was elected to Rajya Sabha in June of this year.
He was undergoing treatment for Covid-19 at a private hospital in Bengaluru where he succumbed to the virus.
