Karuna crafted profiles for her room on the dating apps Tinder and Hinge, not to find love, but to find the perfect match for her flat. She humorously named her room “Kholi number 420,” a playful reference to a classic Bollywood tune from the movie ‘Amar Akbar Antony’. Her innovative approach is a nod to the quirky happenings that the tech city is known for, often dubbed as “peak Bengaluru” moments online.

The house up for grabs is in a three-bedroom apartment located in Singasandra, conveniently close to essential amenities like pharmacies and supermarkets. Karuna’s listing on the dating apps describes the room as the “queen of aesthetics,” hinting at a well-maintained and inviting space.
