Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu to tour State from November

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has announced that he will start touring the State next month to inspect the implementation of various government schemes and programmes.

“The aim is to ensure the benefits reach the targeted sections. The performance of Ministers, Secretaries, and District Collectors will be evaluated in the first week of the same month (November), Mr. Naidu while addressing a review meeting on Real-Time Governance System (RTGS), at the RTGS Centre in the Secretariat on Wednesday.

He said the good governance of the TDP-JSP-BJP coalition was being appreciated, but he would not be complacent lest the field-level officers and employees should become negligent.

Continuous monitoring was essential to keep the public satisfaction level at a high, he observed.

Mr. Naidu said the satisfaction level of citizens with the services of various departments was being assessed through technology-based data auditing, andemphasised that the information provided by officials must be aligned with ground realities. He asserted that delivering better services was his goal and ‘One Government – One Citizen’ the government’s policy.

Taking feedback on the implementation of GST reforms, Mr. Naidu instructed the officials to spread awareness among the public, especially the tribal people, so that they would derive the benefits. He also suggested that the benefits should be highlighted through slides in cinema theatres.

Minister for Information and Public Relations Kolusu Parthasarathy and officials from the RTGS and IT and otherdepartments were present.
