The government has been constantly working to bring light into people’s lives with welfare, development and good governance, says Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu.
Extending his Sankranti greetings to the Telugus across the globe, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has said, “A real festival is when there are no economic imbalances and when living conditions of people improve.”
In a post on X on Sunday, Mr. Naidu said the State government had been constantly working to bring light into people’s lives with welfare, development and good governance.
Swarnandhra Visions
The government had unveiled the Swarnandhra Vision-2047 with 10 principles, and the aim was to ensure Telugus reached the number one position in the world. “The first principle is zero poverty,” he added.
Stating that the P-4 (Public-Private-People-Partnership) system was aimed at achieving zero poverty, the Chief Minister said the lifestyle of crores of people had been transformed with the reforms and policies implemented in the combined State since 1995.
The P-3 (Public-Private-Partnership) system, which had earlier been introduced as a part of the economic reforms, could generate a lot of employment and wealth, M. Naidu said.
Those hailing from ordinary peasant families had reached high positions by utilising the opportunities provided at that time, he said. Several sections of people reached great heights both in the country and abroad. Those who had become global citizens were now turning global leaders, the Chief Minister observed.
Expressing concern over lakhs of families still reeling under acute poverty, Mr. Naidu said that as per the Central census, destitution prevailed in several families in the rural and urban parts of Andhra Pradesh.
“They are in dire straits, wherein basic amenities such as drinking water, medical facilities, education and nutrition are not available,” Mr. Naidu observed.
“I am now proposing the P-4 policy to totally change the situation and to empower society. I want the 10% people, who have reached the highest position in society with their power and strength, and by utilising the government policies, to extend their helping hand to uplift the 20% of the people who are at the bottom,” the Chief Minister said.
