Amar Jyoti centre, a memorial for martyrs who sacrificed their lives during the separate Statehood struggle, is ready for inauguration.

State Planning Board vice-chairman G. Chinna Reddy stressed the need for opening the centre soon. He inspected the centre on Wednesday and appreciated facilities like auditorium and canteen.

The memorial’s architect M. V. Ramana Reddy explained about the design and features of the centre. Dr. Chinna Reddy said he would soon meet Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy requesting him to inaugurate the Amar Jyoti centre.

Meanwhile, a team of officials from the districts visited Mahatma Jyothiba Phule Praja Bhavan and observed the functioning of CM Prajavani, a grievance redressal system started after the Congress took over the reins.

The team was impressed by the effective problem solving approach adopted in the Prajavani. They met Dr. Chinna Reddy, incharge of Prajavani and discussed about the grievance redressal mechanism being followed.

The officials who are undergoing training at Dr. Marri Channa Reddy Human Resource Development Institute appreciated the coordination and problem-solving mechanisms of CM Praja Vani and pledged to replicate the model in their districts.
