Three people died and atleast 10 more sustained injuries on Tuesday in an explosion caused by a gas cylinder at a toy factory in the Aligarh’s Delhi Gate area.

Three people were killed and around ten injured after a cylinder exploded at a toy factory in Uttar Pradesh’s Aligarh on Tuesday.
The cylinder blast took place at a building in the Khatikan locality of Aligarh’s Delhi Gate area.
Due to the explosion, the roof of the building came down, crushing workers at the plastic toy factory underneath.
Three people have died in the accident so far.
The injured have been shifted to the Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College Hospital and Malkhan Singh District Hospital.

Locals who live in the nearby said they rushed to the spot after they heard a loud boom and found that five houses were damaged.
Work is underway to remove the debris from the spot of the accident. Teams of the fire department and local volunteers are working together working on rescue operations.
Superintendent of Police, City, Abhishek Kumar said police were probing if any manufacturing activity was being carried out on the premises.
Senior police officials said the affected building has been cordoned off as a precautionary measure.
