Synopsis
The unpredictable changes in Covid rules are sending many wedding planners into a tizzy. They spend most of their time just updating themselves with the latest guidelines. Their business, meanwhile, has nosedived as clients are not keen on destination weddings or travelling for ceremonies and want to keep the guest list small.
The invite had all the pizzazz — neatly packed gold and silver dusted laddoos doused in saffron from one of Delhi’s super-pricey mithai-makers and a delicately placed faux pearl necklace.
