Axar Patel smashed three sixes in the last over to take Delhi Capitals home but it was all about Shikhar Dhawan – his maiden IPL ton and three spilled chances which came back to hurt CSK- in Saturday’s evening match.

1- This is Shikhar Dhawan’s maiden century in Twenty20 cricket. His previous highest score in this format was 97* while opening for Delhi Capitals in the 2019 Indian Premier League against Kolkata Knight Riders.

4481– Shikhar Dhawan went past Chris Gayle in the list of most runs as an opener in the history of IPL during his maiden century against Chennai Super Kings on Saturday.

264- Shikhar Dhawan scored his maiden Twenty20 century in his 264th inning which are the second most innings taken by any player to score his maiden T20 hundred.

50- Delhi Capitals pacer Kagiso Rabada became the fastest-ever bowler to reach the milestone of 50 wickets in the Indian Premier League, pipping the likes of Lasith Malinga and Sunil Narine.

17- Ravindra Jadeja bowled the worst final over in the history of CSK as 17 runs are the most CSK failed to defend in the final over of a run chase in IPL surpassing 16 runs (conceded by Ben Hilfenhaus) against #MI at the Wankhede in 2012.

22*– Ravindra Jadeja was hit for 22 runs in the final over by Axar Patel and Shikhar Dhawan as DC beat CSK by 5 wickets. This is the 6th costliest final over in the history of the Indian Premier League.
