A woman was gangraped and her 5-year-old child was killed when they were on their way to a bank in Ojha Baraon village in Bihar’s Buxar district on Sunday.
The woman and her child were on their way to a bank when they both were abducted. The woman was then allegedly gangraped and shortly after, she and her child were tied together and thrown into a river.
It was only after the woman raised an alarm that locals rescued her, however, the child could not be saved.

According to the woman, locals came to her rescue when she shouted for help, but the child had died by then.
