Malayalam actor Dileep cast his vote in the Aluva municipality in Kerala local body elections. He was accompanied by wife Kavya Madhavan who exercised her right to her vote. His appearance came a day after being acquitted in the 2017 Malayalam actor assault case. The two were surrounded by media outside the polling booth. However, they refused to respond to the questions posed.
