The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast issued a thunderstorm forecast for 12 Telangana districts for Thursday (October 9, 2025).
According to IMDs latest bulletin, thunderstorm accompanied with lightning and gusty winds are very likely to occur at isolated places in Bhadradri Kothagudem, Khammam, Nalgonda, Suryapet, Mahabubabad, Rangareddy, Hyderabad, Medchal Malkajgiri, Mahabubnagar, Nagarkurnool, Wanaparthy and Jogulamba Gadwal districts.

Meanwhile, Hyderabad and its surrounding areas for the next 24 hours will see partly cloudy sky. “Light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied with gusty winds are very likely to occur in the city. Mist or hazy conditions are very likely to prevail during morning or night hours. The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to be around 31 and 22 respectively,” as per the bulletin.
