A Dubai-bound IndiGo flight that took off from Gujarat’s Surat on Thursday morning made an emergency landing at Ahmedabad’s Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport.
The pilots decided to have an emergency landing at the Ahmedabad airport after the aircraft suffered a technical fault.
After a two-hour hiatus, another flight was arranged for all the passengers on board the IndiGo flight, and they were sent to Dubai.
This came a month after another Indigo flight from Delhi to Goa landed in Mumbai amidst a full emergency after one of its engines failed, according to sources.
The aircraft landed at 9.42 pm on July 15 at Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport.
An IndiGo spokespeson said that a technical snag was detected on flight 6E 6271 while it was on its way from Delhi to the Manohar International Airport in Goa.
