DU’s Competence Enhancement Scheme: Admissions open for 2024-25 session

The University of Delhi has announced the opening of applications for its Competence Enhancement Scheme (CES) for the academic session 2024-25. This initiative, aligned with the vision of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, provides a unique opportunity for individuals of all ages to enhance their knowledge by enrolling in courses alongside regular students.

The scheme is available for papers offered by various University departments in the II and IV semesters, and by colleges in the II, IV, and VI semesters.

CES aims to cater to those who have been eager to fulfill their educational aspirations but were unable to do so earlier. It offers an avenue to upgrade academic and professional skills by leveraging the latest technology, knowledge, and innovation, thereby promoting lifelong learning for both senior and non-senior citizens.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA AND OTHER DETAILS

The eligibility criteria for enrollment in any CES course require prospective learners to meet the minimum prerequisites specified for the paper of interest. Admission is contingent upon the availability of seats in respective departments and colleges, with CES seats being considered supernumerary.

For a comprehensive overview, including the list of available papers, eligibility requirements, registration process, and fee structure, interested candidates are advised to consult the CES e-brochure available on the University’s admission portal (www.admission.uod.du.ac.in) as well as the Institute of Lifelong Learning website (www.illl.du.ac.in).

To apply for the CES 2024-25, candidates can register via the portal (https://ces.du.ac.in/index.php/site/login) from December 28, 2024, to January 8, 2025. Admissions will commence from January 8, 2025, onwards.
