Greater Noida Authority approves Rs 4,378 crore budget for FY 2023-24

The Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority (GNIDA) has approved a budget of Rs 4,378 crore for the financial year 2023-24. This was approved in the board meeting held on Friday under the chairmanship of Industrial Development Commissioner and Noida-Greater Noida Authority Chairman Manoj Kumar Singh.

Reportedly, out of the total, the authority has allocated Rs 450 crore for the upcoming Noida International Airport in Jewar.

In this budget, maximum emphasis has been given to the land acquisition, development of infrastructure and development works along with loan repayment.

New allocation rates for assets have been fixed for the financial year 2023-24. An increase of 4.42% in the rates of industrial, IT park, and data center plots and up to 15% in the existing rates of residential, commercial, builder and institutional plots was approved.

For the salary and maintenance work of the staff of Gautam Buddha University, authority approved a payment of Rs 10 crore to Gautam Buddha University.

Last year, a budget of Rs 5103 crore was approved, but due to the epidemic, only Rs 1440 crore could be spent.
