National president of Hindustani Awam Morcha (HAM) and former Bihar Chief Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi seems to be in a mood to fight it out with the RJD on the issue of forming a coordination committee for the Bihar grand alliance.

Jitan Ram Manjhi has called for a meeting of the core committee of Hindustani Awam Morcha where he is likely to take a big decision whether to stay in the grand alliance or not.

Significantly, over the past few weeks, Jitan Ram Manjhi has demanded formation of a coordination committee of the grand alliance so that all parties can discuss the issue of seat sharing and the chief ministerial candidate for Bihar elections.

The Hindustani Awam Morcha has already said that RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav is not the leader of the grand alliance but only the chief ministerial candidate for RJD in the upcoming assembly elections.

Manjhi has raised demands that the decision of who should be the leader of the grand alliance for the upcoming Bihar assembly elections should be decided in the coordination committee.

Recently, a meeting was held between Manjhi and Congress high command in Delhi where Manjhi again raised the demand to form a coordination committee for the grand alliance in Bihar. At that time, the Congress high command assured Manjhi that RJD would soon form a coordination committee of the grand alliance, but nothing has happened so far.

On the other hand, RJD has made it clear that Tejashwi Yadav is the chief ministerial candidate of RJD and there will be no compromise in the grand alliance on his name.
