PM Modi speaks to Virat Kohli, Milind Soman for ‘Fit India Dialogue’

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday interacted with actor and fitness enthusiast Milind Soman, India cricket team captain Virat Kohli and others on the first anniversary of the ‘Fit India Movement’.

PM Narendra Modi also launched ‘Fit India Age Appropriate Fitness Protocols’ during the online interaction of Fit India Dialogue to celebrate the first anniversary of the Fit India Movement.

While talking about how fitness is important for people of all age, Milind Soman spoke of his 80-year-old mother who takes part in marathons and trekking expeditions. Hearing about his mother, PM Narendra Modi lauded Milind Soman and his mother and said he pays his respects to the senior citizen.

Cricketer Virat Kohli, Milind Soman, nutritionist Rujuta Diwekar and other fitness influencers took part in the event. A brainchild of PM Narendra Modi, the Fit India Dialogue is yet another effort to involve citizens of the country to draw out a plan to make India a fit nation.

While interacting with nutritionist Rujuta Diwekar, PM Narendra Modi told her he tries to speak to his mother twice a week and whenever he calls her, she always asks him whether he is having ‘haldi’ on a regular basis. PM Narendra Modi then went on to say that he likes sharing his recipe to have ‘haldi’ on social media.
