A man and a woman were in the pool at the time of the raid. Rest of the people were sitting on sofas in front of the pool and there were drinks on their tables.
Some people had to be forced out from inside the house. A woman tried to argue with the police during the raid.
Police also seized a large of amount of empty liquor bottles from the house.
Police have registered a case under IPC section 188 (disobedience to order duly promulgated by public servant) and further investigation is underway.
A few days prior to this incident, the crime branch raided another party in Bhopal in Aura Mall area and detained several people.
Last week, around 60 people were caught by police while violating the Sunday lockdown at a restaurant in Bhopal’s Bairagarh.
