Cloudburst and heavy rains wreaked havoc in two villages of Uttarakhand’s Pithoragarh district on Monday morning, leaving three people dead and as many injured.
At least nine people are reportedly missing after the cloudburst in Taga village of Munsiyari and Gela village of Bangapani in Pithoragarh district.
The cloudburst has caused damage to many houses in the two villages of Pithoragarh. Three people have died in Gela village of Bangapani. In Taga, nine people are missing.
The rescue teams reached the two villages and launched a rescue operation. The search for the missing persons is underway.
